HOW SANUSI LAMIDO NEARLY ESCAPED ARREST AFTER BEING NAMED NEW EMIR OF KANO

The new Emir of Kano,Alhaji Lamido Sanusi on Sunday reportedly narrowly escaped  being arrested by security operatives at his personal residence in Kano hours after he was appointed to the throne. According  to a source who craved anonymity due to security reasons, the Kano State government hurriedly sneaked Alhaji Sanusi out of his personal residence after receiving intelligence reports that the Federal Government was plotting to arrest him to frustrate his being turbaned.
The impeccable source stated that: ''It is true His Royal Highness did not sleep in his house after information came that there are moves to arrest him for reasons we don't know. The Governor had to arrange for him to be smuggled  into the Government House  where he passed the night. It is not clear why the government wanted to arrest the new Emir of Kano.''

  2. I learnt he still rules from the Government House. The Presidency should leave this man alone and let him enjoy his tenure. Afterall, he lost the suit he filed against the Federal Government challenging his controversial suspension as CBN governor, and he didn't make any fuss over the High Court's ruling.
