JUST an hour before the Super Eagles of Nigeria played against Argentina yesterday in the ongoing World Cup,there was a bomb blast in an upmarket district of Abuja,Nigeria's capital. Eye witnesses accounts confirmed that body parts were scattered near the Emab Plaza as black smoke enveloped everywhere.Surrounding buildings shook from the effects of the bomb explosion.
No one has yet claimed responsibility of the devastating attack. However, the bomb blast bore the hallmarks of the radical Islamist group,Boko Haram whose dastardly activities have sent thousands of Nigerians into their untimely graves, and have maimed thousands of people as well.Over 200 school girls kidnapped by the group are still in their custody. Some of the girls have reportedly been impregnated.
