Last month,Muhammed Abacha's sister,Gumsu cried out in the social media and on her twitter handle that Nigerians should leave her embattled brother alone. Her lone voice in the wilderness has seemingly dropped into appropriate quarters. This morning,the Federal Government of Nigeria dropped the 426 billion naira corruption charges levelled against him,over the role he played in stashing away the billions of naira allegedly stolen by his late father and ex-military Head of State,ledged the receipt of $500 million from Switzerland Bank as part of the money stashed away by the later military ruler.
Mr Muhammed,time to heave a sigh of relief.
