OSCAR PISTORIUS KICKSTARTS DEFENCE ON A BRILLIANT NOTE

   The South African star athlete who is facing trial in Pretoria,South Africa for the alleged murder of his model girlfriend,Steve Reevekamp has kickstarted his defence of his innocence on a bright,promising note. Mr Pistorius had claimed he mistook her for an intruder and accidentally shot at her.
   According to the prosecution,Mr Pistorius committed premeditated murder. The defence presented two witnesses.The first is a social worker, who happened to be Mr Pistorius' neighbour.She posited that Mr Pistorius' emotional outbursts in the course of the trial have been genuine,and not acting,as being suggested by the prosecution.
   The second witness,an anaesthetic,also corroborated Mr Pistorius's claim that Miss Stevekamp ate by 6pm on the Valentine day murder.
