The President Goodluck Jonathan's administration has once again demonstrated its ineptitude by blowing a whopping sum of 4 billion naira on the recently concluded World Economic Forum. The Forum,which took place at the Federal Capital Territory witnessed the gathering of several Presidents of various countries and technocrats who failed miserably to discuss any tangible issue tha can propel the Nigerian economy forward.
The big question is: Why wasting 4 billion naira of the tax payers' money on a forum,when the country's economy is in doldrums, when there are serious security challenges? This is an outright case of misplaced priority. The 4 billion naira could have been more judiciously invested on more productive thing that would go a long way in revamping the country's economy.
