Rolf Harris,the 84-year-old, highly successful and hugely-popular former children's entertainer, artist and Australian celebrity is to spend the rest of his life in prison upon his conviction of being a paedophile and an incurable sex pervert. He sexually abused at least 19 women and children, and more victims are coming out to testify against the man who felt that his celebrity status places him above the law. He molested his daugher, Bindi's best friend from age 13 to 29,turning her to his sex toy. Her nightmare started when she was invited on a five-week holiday in Hawaii with the Harris family.Harris pounced on her in a hotel suit as she came out of a shower,with a towel covering her nakedness. The sexual abuse dragged on into adulthood by which she had become 'psychologically destroyed.' She finally resolved to report him to police in 2012.
Rolf Harris also molested a 7-year-old girl at a community centre in Portsmouth after she asked for his autograph in 1969.His victims also included a popular TV presenter who was molested live on air when she was conducting an interview for him.She suddenly felt his hand worming its way under her skirt,gripping her thighs.She abruptly discontinued the interview and called for a commercial break. 2 Australian broadcasters,a waitress and a young artist are also his victims. He was found guilty of the 12 counts charges against him.
The victims will be compensated with sizeable chunk of his 11 million pounds sterling worth, decision which has left his daughter and only child,Bindi fuming. The money had earlier been willed to her.
