ALHAJI SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI WITHDRAWS LAW SUIT AGAINST THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has withdrawn the law suit he filed against the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan challenging his suspension as the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor. He has earlier lost the case which was initially filed at the Federal High Court, Lagos. The court referred the case to the National Industrial Court.
Having become the Emir of Kano, following the demise of the former Emir, Ado Bayero, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido felt there is absolutely no need to pursue the controversial matter further, and he subsequently filed  a notice of discontinuance through his lawyer.
