FESTUS KEYAMO DENIED OF SAN AWARD

  The cerebral legal practitioner, Dr Olu Onagoruwa tops the 17 senior lawyers list awarded the coveted position of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria[SAN] by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee[LPPC] as a mark of excellence in law practice and teaching. According to Mr Sunday Olorundahunsi, the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and the Secretary of LPPC, 109 legal practitioners and 23 academics applied for the position of SAN this year. Out of these, 19 legal practitioners and 4 academics were shortlisted and interviewed.
     17 were eventually awarded SAN while 6 were dropped.Perhaps the biggest name among the dropped applicants is Barrister Festus Keyamo, the firebrand lawyer and human rights activist.
    Well,there is always another time.

    Festus Keyamo should wait until his time come. After all,his former oga, late Chief Gani Fawehinmi waited for long before bagging SAN
