HUSBAND CLUBBED HIS SLEEPING WIFE TO DEATH WITH HAMMER FOR SENDING ROMANTIC TEXT MESSAGE

  A possessive and fiercely jealous husband, Danish Irfan,22, has battered his sleeping wife to death with a hammer after he discovered a romantic text she had sent to another man. He hit his wife, Ridda Zanab's skull so hard that fragments of bone were forced into her brain, killing her instantly. The content of the text message sent by the late wife is: ''I LUV YU, GUD NYT.'' Tragically enough, the 21-year-old victim had only given birth to the couple's first child 2 months ago. After murdering her, he lied to his family that Ms Zanab had left home out of her own volition. Bradford Crown Court heard that he then flew to Pakistan on a false passport.
    However, he confessed to a close friend that he had killed his wife before he left the country. When the police broke down the door to their home on the afternoon of November 4, 2013, they found Ms Zanab's decomposing body.
