ADEBAYO SALAMI TO MARK 50 YEARS ON STAGE

  Veteran actor, Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello is planning big to commemorate his 50 years in the entertainment industry. OOB reliably gathered that the Kwara-born, immensely popular, highly talented actor and movie producer has picked September 26 and 28 for the celebration of his landmark achievement. On September 26,2014, at the Agip Recital Hall of the Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, there will be a stage play titled Oloko Oba[ King's Namesake]. The play centres around a wicked king who is dictatorial,and terrorises his people. According to A021 MEDIA,the organisers of the event, the stage play is for a select guest of 200 dignitaries and VIPs, including politicians, brand executives, businessmen, veteran movie stars and media practitioners.The grand party will hold on Sunday,September 28, at Time Square Events Centre,Ikeja, Lagos.
     Oga Bello has played lead roles in over 100 Yoruba movies and is still very relevant in the Yoruba movie industry.Few of his children, Femi Adebayo, Sodiq Adebayo and Rilwan have followed his footstep,and are doing wonderfully well in Nollywood.
