Lagos State Governor,
Babatunde Raji Fashola has taken another bold step by approving
24 weeks maternity leave with full salary payment for female Lagos State public servants and 10 days paternity leave for the husbands of the affected public servants. However, the 24 weeks leave and the paternity leave are only applicable for 2 children of the couples. Since the announcement this morning, female and several male Lagos State workers have been excited by the news.
