11 PARENTS OF ABDUCTED GIRLS ARE DEAD

   The National Chairman, Chibok  Community, Pogu Bitrus has confirmed that 4 more parents of the abducted girls of the Government Secondary School,Chibov,Borno State have died. The number of the dead parents have now been raised to 11. An online newspaper, The Cable quoted Bitrus as saying that 7 of the parents of the girls abducted by members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect on April 14 from their hostel died of heart attack and frustration.  The additional 4 parents also lost their lives to the traumatic experience of not seeing their beloved daughters for over 3 months.According to Bitrus, ''one father of two of the girls kidnapped just went into a kind of trauma and kept repeating the names of his daughters until life left him.''
  Today now makes it 100 days since the girls have been  abducted.

  A possessive and fiercely jealous husband, Danish Irfan,22, has battered his sleeping wife to death with a hammer after he discovered a romantic text she had sent to another man. He hit his wife, Ridda Zanab's skull so hard that fragments of bone were forced into her brain, killing her instantly. The content of the text message sent by the late wife is: ''I LUV YU, GUD NYT.'' Tragically enough, the 21-year-old victim had only given birth to the couple's first child 2 months ago. After murdering her, he lied to his family that Ms Zanab had left home out of her own volition. Bradford Crown Court heard that he then flew to Pakistan on a false passport.
    However, he confessed to a close friend that he had killed his wife before he left the country. When the police broke down the door to their home on the afternoon of November 4, 2013, they found Ms Zanab's decomposing body.

  Inna Patty and her Exclusive Events have denied allegations that Inna Patty's mum recently stormed the official residence of Miss  Ghana where the winner-Guiseppine Baafi was staying at the time to physically assault her over the winner's blunt refusal to sign a new. slavish contract that was presented to her.Inna Patty was a guest on PEACE FM's Entertainment Review show on Saturday morning. Ravishingly beautiful Nnadi topped the 30 contestants who represented the 30 Nigerian states at the colourful event organised by the Silverbird Group and themed ''The Art of Beauty.''     Harris's prison sentence has already raised eyebrows, as he could be out in less than 3 years. A source informed The People newspaper that Harris starting his jail term at Bullingdon was unusual, as prisoners were usually moved their later on in their sentences, provided they have been of good behaviour. The source reiterated: ''I f you're convicted of a serious crime at Southwark Crown Court,you'd always get sent to Wandsworth, no questions asked.''

DIVISION IN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OVER PRESIDENT JONATHAN'S $1 BILLION LOAN REQUEST

  There is palpable division among the members of the National Assembly on whether or not the $1 billion loan request made by President Goodluck Jonathan should be approved or not. In his letter to the National Assembly, the President claimed there is an urgent need for the huge sum of money to upgrade the equipment of the armed forces and the training of the personnel in order to confront the Boko Haram insurgency.
   The big question most of the National Assembly members are asking is that President Jonathan should  be able to account for the money released so far to fight the insurgents. According to Senator Magnus Abe[ APC,Rivers State] in a recent interview with SUNDAY PUNCH,''I have nothing against the release of the money to fight the insurgency, but President Jonathan should satisfy himself and Nigerians that the amount of money so far released  for the anti-terrorism activities had been judiciously utilised....it will be a very sad development if it turned out at the end of the day that the $1 billion being requested by the President was diverted into politics.''
   Senator Babafemi Ojudu said the request by the President was ''not desirable and obviously, not justifiable.''

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA DENIES BRIBING ADAMAWA LAW MAKERS

JEHOVAH'S WITNESS ELDER, MARK SEWELL JAILED FOR SEXUALLY ABUSING GIRLS

    A Jehovah's Witness elder, Mark Sewell,53, from Cardiff has been jailed for 14 years for sexually abusing three girls as young as 12  at his Jehovah's Witness church congregation in Barry near Cardiff, Wales in a string of sexual abuses that spanned 8 years. He raped one woman in his congregation, and impregnated her in thew process. She later suffered from miscarriage. All along, being such an influential member, his church has been shielding him.He was found guilty 19 years after the incident of 8 counts of sexual abuse.
    During a 3 weeks trial at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court, jurors heard the salacious details of how Sewell would kiss the girl deeply,and would pull her on top of his body as he lay on the sofa of his 200000 pound sterling terraced home in Barry.
   Prosecutor Sarah Waters said : ''Mr Sewell is a sexual predator who took opportunities available to him to satisfy his sexual desires.He used his high position in Jehovah's Witness congregation to act in a sexually inappropriate manner with women.''

TULISA CONSTOSTAVIOS' FRIEND ADMITTED SUPPLYING COCAINE

    One of Tulisa Constostavios' friends today admitted supplying cocaine to an undercover reporter  as the former X Factor judge went on trial for allegedly setting up the drug deal.   The cerebral legal practitioner, Dr Olu Onagoruwa tops the 17 senior lawyers list awarded the coveted position of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria[SAN] by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee[LPPC] as a mark of excellence in law practice and teaching. According to Mr Sunday Olorundahunsi, the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and the Secretary of LPPC, 109 legal practitioners and 23 academics applied for the position of SAN this year. Out of these, 19 legal practitioners and 4 academics were shortlisted and interviewed.
     17 were eventually awarded SAN while 6 were dropped.Perhaps the biggest name among the dropped applicants is Barrister Festus Keyamo, the firebrand lawyer and human rights activist.

KUNLE BANTEFA RELOCATES TO LONDON

    Nollywood star and the rested soap opera  Fuji House of Commotion lead actor, Kunle Bantefa  now stays in the United Kingdom. He was spotted at an occasion in Lagos last week. As usual, he was full of smiles as he exchanges pleasantries with the people around. The big question on everybody's lips is why he hasn't featured in movies and soap operas lately. OOB can authoritatively inform you that the thespian has relocated to the United Kingdom. He visits Nigeria occasionally.

   2 weeks ago, Nollywood star actress who recently successfully premiered a big-budget movie,Kofo The First Lady, Liz Anjorin has come under intense criticism lately following her uploading of beach pictures on the internet in which she wore  bikini and was scantily clad. When Iyabo  Ojo and other movie stars did the same, they were praised and admired. The reason behind Liz Anjorin's bashing is not far-fetched. She has converted to Islamic religion, a religion which frowns against indecent body exposure.
   Two days ago, Liz Anjorin came out to shed more light on the beach photos. She claimed it was for a movie, and she has grown thick skin on her criticisms. She dedicated her recent, highly prestigious City People Yoruba Movie Personality of the Year Award to her haters and critics.

DR BUKOLA SARAKI ATTEMPTS TO DROP GOVERNOR AHMED OF KWARA STATE

   There are strong indications that Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State has fallen out of favour with his political godfather and predecessor, Dr Bukola Saraki, who played a major role in ensuring that Governor Ahmed  got into power. According to close sources, Dr Bukola Saraki is attempting to drop him and annoint and support another candidate in the coming 2015 Governorship election.

The20 years old troublesome Canadian singer and songwriter, Justin Bierber  has been ordered by an American court to take anger management classes. He accepted the plea deal  to avoid jail term. He is to undergo the anger management classes along with 2 years of  supervised probation after pleading no contest to charges of misdemeanor and vandalism, TMZ reports.
     Justin will also perform 5 days of community service, and pay $80,900 in damages to his former neighbour, whose Calabasas home Justin threw eggs at. Representatives for Bierber told  Mail On Line that,''Justin is glad to get this matter resolved  and behind him. He will continue to move forward, focusing on his career and his music.''

    Controversial gospel artiste-turned hip hop artiste, Maheeda has  made a startling revelation in a recent interview that concerning her penchant for uploading her nude and semi nude pictures on the internet despite the wave of criticisms that action has generated.When she was asked  if her hubby is not bothered by this, she replied : ''He loves it.He always say, 'oh,so my wife is this sexy.'
