BOKO HARAM CAPTURES MORE TOWNS

The outlawed, dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram which has bestrode Nigeria's landscape like a colossus on Sunday continued its expansionist mission by overrunning Michika and Uba in Adamawa State. The capture of the two communities translates to the fact that Boko Haram now controls 13 communities in the North East. News of the capture of Michika and Uba coincided with the lamentation on Sunday by the Secretary to the Borno State Government, Amb. Baba Jidda that most parts of Borno State had been taken over by the dreaded sect.He revealed that the arms and ammunition possessed by the insurgents were superior to those held by the Nigerian soldiers who usually beat an hasty retreat when confronted by the Boko Haram.
Meanwhile,a former Minister of Petroleum, Professor Tam David-West has berated President Goodluck Jonathan for failing to squarely address the porous security situation in the country. According to him,the President is evidently afraid of the Boko Haram.
