LAWYERS APPEAL FOR THE RELEASE OF MIKE OZEKHOME

         The fiery Lagos-based lawyer and human rights activist, Barrister Mike Ozekhome was abducted by hardened kidnappers along Benin- Auchi road on Saturday[ August 24]. In a commando style, the kidnappers dispatched the four policemen who attempted to avert the kidnapping into the world beyond.
      Meanwhile, seasoned lawyers across the country have appealed to the kidnappers to release him. Edo State government has promised to leave no stone unturned in ensuring his release. Baaristers Festus Keyamo and Fred Agbaje are some of the lawyers who have commented on this ugly incident. They alluded the incident to political motives and the porous state of insecurity in Nigeria.
