BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO FACES MONEY LAUNDERING CHARGES IN THE U.K.

      The General Overseer of Winners Chapel and the richest pastor in Nigeria[according to the highly influential Forbes Magazine] is facing a trying time at the moment.
     The U.K. government is investigating how the U.K. branch of Bishop Oyedepo's Winners Chapel misappropriated roughly 16 million pound sterling[ about 4 billion naira] collected as tithes between 2008 and 2011.
    Remarkably, over 1 million pound sterling[ 250 million naira] out of the amount is said to have been sent to the Nigerian headquarters of the church, as shown in the church's account.
