LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT PARTNERS WITH KUNLE AFOLAYAN

        The Lagos State Government is partnering with the consummate movie producer and director, Kunle Afolayan[the producer of the award-winning movie,The Figurine] to produce a big-budget historical movie on Nigerian independence entitled ''October 1st.''
      The movie is reportedly budgeted at 2 million U.S. dollars.It will chronicle events before and after the Nigerian independence. The popular newscaster,Sodiq Daba is among the actors that will star in the movie which will also parade Hollywood stars.
