The controversial Kogi state politician, Honourable Dino Melanye and popular Yoruba actress, Bisi Ibidapo-Obe grabbed the headlines last year for all the wrong reasons. The pretty actress claimed Hon. Dino Melanye was responsible for the pregnancy she was carrying then. With his wife's unflinching support, Hon. Dino denied the paternity. Bisi had the baby and named him after Melanye in a well-attended christening.
There is now a new twist to the saga. Bisi in the various social events she has lately been attending has been telling her friends that Hon. Melanye now calls her often to ask after the baby's welfare, and has promised to shower the child with adequate care.
