UNVEILING PASTOR SUNDAY ADELAJA, WHO RUNS UKRAINE'S BIGGEST CHURCH

    The most popular Nigerian pastor in Ukraine is the stylish Pastor Sunday Adelaja, who heads Embassy of God Church in Ukraine. He relocated to the USSR and Belarus as a Scholarship Student from Nigeria in 1986 to study Journalism. After his graduation and  following the breakdown of USSR, he started two churches which he later handed over to other pastors before he moved to Ukraine  from Belarus in December 1993. He has since spread his tentacles to Bulgaria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, The United States of America and several other countries. However,it has not been a roller coaster affair for him as he has battled with a series of persecutions from the Ukranian government. He was specifically accused by Ukraine Minister of Internal Affairs, Yury Lutsenko of involvement in a fraud that resulted in the closure of a finance company,King's Capital Company. He has since been cleared of the baseless allegation.
