AS TOPE FOLARIN WON THE CAINE PRIZE FOR AFRICAN WRITING

  News filtered in two days ago from the U.S.A. that a U.S. based Nigerian writer, Tope Folarin has won this year's Caine Prize for African Writing with his captivating story entitled ''Miracle.'' This prestigious literary prize has made him 15000  US Dollars richer. Congrats. With the rate at which Nigerian writers are garnering prestigious literary prizes globally, I wont be surprised if the next African Nobel Prize for Literature winner comes fro Nigeria.
