THERE are strong feelers that the disgraced South African paralympian, Oscar Pistorius could be convicted for murder and sent back to prison before the end of this year by the five South African five judges of the Supreme Court of Appeal led by Lex Mpati. Two days ago during the appeal hearing,Oscar's defence lawyer, Barry Roux faced tough questioning from the five judges who put it straight to him to explain how Oscar would not have foreseen the death of whoever is in the toilet by firing four shots into the cubicle. The Supreme Court of Appeal seemed more swayed by the prosecutor, Gerrie Nel's argument that Oscar should have been convicted for murder. Legal experts across the world mostly believe that Oscar's chance of acquittal from murder is slim.
But then, you never can tell. The world has witnessed greater surprises.
