11 PARENTS OF ABDUCTED GIRLS ARE DEAD

   The National Chairman, Chibok  Community, Pogu Bitrus has confirmed that 4 more parents of the abducted girls of the Government Secondary School,Chibov,Borno State have died. The number of the dead parents have now been raised to 11. An online newspaper, The Cable quoted Bitrus as saying that 7 of the parents of the girls abducted by members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect on April 14 from their hostel died of heart attack and frustration.  The additional 4 parents also lost their lives to the traumatic experience of not seeing their beloved daughters for over 3 months.According to Bitrus, ''one father of two of the girls kidnapped just went into a kind of trauma and kept repeating the names of his daughters until life left him.''
  Today now makes it 100 days since the girls have been  abducted.

WEALTHY FOREIGN STUDENTS IN LONDON NOW OUTBID WEALTHY BANKERS FOR APARTMENT

  Wonders will never cease. Reports just reaching us say that  luxury and swanky apartments in choice areas  of London are now being snapped up by wealthy overseas students before the city's bankers and other middle-class, working class people. According to research by the London Central Portfolio, undergraduates now prefer flats in some of central London's most exclusive addresses to cramped halls of residence. International students now make up 41 percent of tenancies taken up in prime ares of the capital, including Mayfair, Chelsea and Kensington, where rents cost 1000 pound sterling per week.
  The influx of foreign students from wealthy background into the United Kingdom is not helping matters for the bankers who are still dazed over this new development.

DESMOND ELLIOT DENIES SLEEPING WITH 2 SISTERS

In 2013, the rumour-mongers were at it again, as the news went viral that multiple award-winning Nollywood actor, movie producer and director, Desmond Elliot was sleeping with 2 biological sisters. Surprisingly, Desmond never refuted the damaging  allegation then.

HUSBAND CLUBBED HIS SLEEPING WIFE TO DEATH WITH HAMMER FOR SENDING ROMANTIC TEXT MESSAGE

  A possessive and fiercely jealous husband, Danish Irfan,22, has battered his sleeping wife to death with a hammer after he discovered a romantic text she had sent to another man. He hit his wife, Ridda Zanab's skull so hard that fragments of bone were forced into her brain, killing her instantly. The content of the text message sent by the late wife is: ''I LUV YU, GUD NYT.'' Tragically enough, the 21-year-old victim had only given birth to the couple's first child 2 months ago. After murdering her, he lied to his family that Ms Zanab had left home out of her own volition. Bradford Crown Court heard that he then flew to Pakistan on a false passport.
    However, he confessed to a close friend that he had killed his wife before he left the country. When the police broke down the door to their home on the afternoon of November 4, 2013, they found Ms Zanab's decomposing body.

 AS I am blogging this post, President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan is holding a meeting with some of the escaped Chibov girls, the distraught  parents of the over 200 abducted girls and other stake holders at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja. Incidentally, the meeting is taking place exactly 99 days after the abduction of the Chibov Girls by the seemingly irrepressible Boko Haram insurgents.
  Governor Shettima of Borno State is among the VIPs present in the crucial meeting.OOB will keep you posted on the outcome of the meeting.

  Inna Patty and her Exclusive Events have denied allegations that Inna Patty's mum recently stormed the official residence of Miss  Ghana where the winner-Guiseppine Baafi was staying at the time to physically assault her over the winner's blunt refusal to sign a new. slavish contract that was presented to her.Inna Patty was a guest on PEACE FM's Entertainment Review show on Saturday morning. During the popular programme, she clarified that her mum never assaulted Guiseppine Baafi and only asked her to enter her car so that she could drive the winner to her mother's house, in view of the simple fact that she had resigned as the 2013 Miss Ghana.
      However, according to a video recording released by the security guard who was physically present at the scene of the incident which took place in midnight, Inna Patty truly assaulted  the Miss Ghana winner, and many property in the house were vandalized.

   The father of a Dutch school girl killed on board Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 has penned an open, angry letter blaming 'Monster Mr Putin' for his beloved daughter and only child's tragic death. The 17-year-old Elsemiek de Borst was killed alongside her mother, step-brother and step-father when the Boeing 777 passenger plane they were travelling on was shot out of the sky over Eastern Ukraine by a surface-to-air missile last Thursday.
  Her father has posted a grief-stricken open letter online, detailing all the things his daughter had planned to do after leaving High School, and accusing of the Russian President of ruining his life.

  Former X-Factor judge, Tulisa Constostavios punched the air this morning in sheer ecstacy as she walks free from court after her trial for supplying cocaine collapses.    South Africa-based Miss Akwa Ibom, Iheoma Nnadi on Friday night at Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State got crowned as the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria for the year 2014. Ravishingly beautiful Nnadi topped the 30 contestants who represented the 30 Nigerian states at the colourful event organised by the Silverbird Group and themed ''The Art of Beauty.'' It was hosted by OAP IK Osakioduwa and Yvonne Ekwere.
    By winning the keenly contested beauty pageant, Nnadi won 3 million naira prize money, a saloon car, and will represent Nigeria  at the Miss World beauty pageant holding in the United Kingdom later in the year.

   Miss Edo, Queen Celestine,22 emerged the first runner-up,winning the 'Miss Amity' prize in the process. She will represent Nigeria at the 'Miss Universe' beauty pageant. LATE BRITISH STAR ACTOR PETER O'TOOLE'S MYSTERIOUS 4 MILLION POUND STERLING WILL UNVEILED

   British popular actor, Peter O' Toole's will was  read 7 months after the actor's death. DISGRACED ROLF HARRIS TAKEN TO 'SOFT' PRISON IN OXFORDSHIRE

  Disgraced artist and entertainer, Rolf Harris, who was sentenced to five years and 9 months behind bars for a string of sex attacks was initially said to be heading to the tough Wandsworth Prison in South West London.However, he was reportedly fast tracked to a soft prison in Oxfordshire, and he did not spend a single night in tougher Wandsworth. Suggestions are rife that he was given a preferential treatment.
    Harris's prison sentence has already raised eyebrows, as he could be out in less than 3 years. A source informed The People newspaper that Harris starting his jail term at Bullingdon was unusual, as prisoners were usually moved their later on in their sentences, provided they have been of good behaviour. The source reiterated: ''I f you're convicted of a serious crime at Southwark Crown Court,you'd always get sent to Wandsworth, no questions asked.''
