LAIDE BAKARE'S HUSBAND CLEARS AIRS ON EFCC ISSUE

         Alhaji Mutairu Babatunde Oriowo,the businessman husband of the controversial Nollywood actress,Laide Bakare has debunked the fraud and theft story levelled against him by the antigraft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision [EFCC]. In adverts published in the national dailies,EFCC declared the CEO of Primavera Construction and Engineering Limited wanted.
         In a series of interviews he has generously granted to several media outfits,Alhaji Oriowo has not only cleared his name on those allegations,but even threatened to sue EFCC for defamation of character and breach of contract.

LIVERPOOL FC HOLDS THE HILLSBOROUGH STADIUM TRAGEDY ANNIVERSARY

      25 years ago,96 Liverpool FC fans died and hundreds sustained varying degrees of injury at the Hillsborough Stadium. The tragedy was triggered by crowded stands in an FA Cup semi final match between Liverpool FC and Nortingham Forest.
      Two years later,coroner's inquest proved their death to be accidental,a report which has left the family members of the victims utterly dissatisfied.
      The 25 years anniversary of this tragic incident was held two days ago in an emotion-laden ceremony.

IYABO OJO CHANGES NAME OF NGO

     Sexy and highly talented Nollyhood actress,Iyabo Ojo has changed the name of her wave-making Non Governmental Organisation from Sexy Pinky Ladies to something less controversial. According to her,the name change was informed by the wrong signals the former name was sending that the NGO is targeted at lesbians.
    In several interviews,Iyabo Ojo has distanced herself from lesbianism,and even warned lesbians to stop texting and pinging her.

A SERIAL MURDERER ARRESTED IN MEXICO

      A man charged with carrying out 9 contract killings has confessed to murdering 40 people over several decades,according to Skynews.
      Jose Manuel Martinez,51, allegedly informed the US investigators that he perpetrated the crimes while working as an enforcer for a drug cartel. His victims' ages ranged from 22 to 56 years.
      He was arrested last year shortly after crossing the border from Mexico top Arizona.

KEMI OLUNLOYO HAD A CLOSE SHAVE WITH DEATH

      Controversial beautiful daughter of ex-Oyo State civilian Governor,Kemi Olunloyo has been discharged from the hospital,where she received treatment following a crash involving a commercial okada rider in Agodi,Ibadan area last week Sunday.
     According to her,she was making a U turn with her car into a house in Agodi when a motor cycle unaccountably slammed into the car,and sent her crashing through the gates of the house. Luckily,she survived it.

MOHAMMED ABACHA CHARGED TO COURT

          The controversial son of the late dictator,Mohammed Abacha has been charged to the court by the Federal Government of Nigeria for helping his late father to steal a whopping sum of 446 billion naira from the Federal Government coffers. The looting of the treasury took place between 1995 and 1998..
        The charge was filed by a private prosecutor,Barrister Daniel Enwelum on behalf of the Federal Government.

PROSECUTOR INSTILS FEAR IN OSCAR PISTORIUS

            The widely reported trial of the super star South  African athlete,Oscar Pistorius who allegedly murdered his model girl friend, Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine Day has taken a new dimension. The dour prosecutor,Gerrie Nel has resorted to instilling fear in the accused by showing video footage of the athlete at a gun range shooting of a water melon, and comparing Reeva's head to the water melon.
        The prosecutor also now shouts down on Oscar who looks visibly disturbed in the course of the trial. His argument is that Oscar is a trigger happy fellow.
