SADIQ DABA EMERGES BEST AFRICA ACTOR

    Veteran newscaster and actor, Sadiq Daba has won the 2015 Africa Movie Award Best Actor in Leading Role for his role in Kunle Afolayan's multiple award winning flick,October 1. The AMAA 2015 took place in South Africa.

KING SUNNY ADE BATTLES MARKETERS

    Juju maestro and music legend, King Sunny Ade has filed a suit at the Federal High Court, Lagos involving his 7 marketers who are defendants in the case . The defendants are charged for musical records,cassettes and cassette jacket print in Nigeria. KSA is seeking damages to the tune of 3 billion naira for infringing on 43 works from him as he seeks a court order directing the defendants to deliver master tapes of the said works to him. He admitted signing a 5 years contract with them in the 1970s which has expired since. The hearing date has been fixed for Friday, October 30.

TOYIN AIMAKU ROMANCES SEUN EGBEGBE

   The last might not have been heard of the rumoured break of marriage between controversial,talented Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimaku and her actor husband, Adeniyi  Johnson. Rumour is rife that Toyin,who recently returned home to her husband after the resolution of an infidelity issue is presently dating Lagos big boy and the colourful CEO of Ebony Films, Seun Egbegbe. The two loverbirds are presently reportedly holidaying in Dubai.

     Veteran Nollywood Yoruba actor and President of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPPAN, Prince Dele Odule will be jetting back to the country soon after a successful tour of the U.S.A. He travelled to garner support from entertainment stakeholders in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Maryland, Washington DC, Atlanta Georgia and Houston Texas. According to him, he had a fulfilling trip.
